• Firstly you need to get a viewing pass or make a donation via this website only.
• On the day of the premiere, open the player via the link sent to you and enter the viewing pass code.
• Or from this website, go to "Get Viewing Pass/Make Donation" page. Then click on the type of Pass purchased and enter the viewing pass code. For Naira Passes please click on that particular section.
• You can watch on only one of these device, either a phone or tablet or laptop or desktop.
• You can choose to connect your laptop to the TV using the HDMI cable to get a lager picture view.
• You need to have enough internet data to last up to 2 hours. The film is 1 hr 16mins long.
• The film is showing on 12th June 2024 (Nigeria's Democracy Day) @ 7pm GMT/Nigerian time), 8pm Central Europe. (Please check world time for your region).
• North & South Americas @ 7pm ET (New York time). This is a special arrangement. If you're in this region please stick to the time of 7pm ET (New York time). 
• N.B. THIS FILM IS SHOWING FOR ONE DAY AND ONE TIME ONLY (except for VVIP Pass holders). Do not miss it.

It is advisable that you access the player 30mins before the scheduled time to allow you sort out any issue you might encounter before time.

Thinking of jumping in later may be too late. Speed is of the essence here unless you are eyeing the $120 VVIP PASS (where spaces may take a while to get filled).

Majority of people will go for the low priced regular Viewing Pass but the playout platform has a limited amount of bandwidth and when it reaches its limit, it will automatically disable the paywall and no longer be visible for people to make payment. So why wait until that happens when you can get in early today and secure your space while you are seeing the paywall. Do not wait till it disappears.

(E.G. Assuming 1hr video uses 1GB of bandwidth and the playout platform has 12GB, that means not more than 12 people can access the video, the playout platform will automatically prevent the 13th person from making payment).

And for the Naira paying Viewing Pass, it makes economic sense to get it quickly now because of the ever increasing exchange rate rather than wait till it gets out of reach.

Moreso, the original regular Viewing Pass is $15 but discounted to $10 for a period of time. When it gets to a certain time, the price will revert back to its original amount of $15 without notice.

You can watch from any part of the world on only one of these device; phone, tablet, laptop or desktop.

If you want a larger picture and louder volume, you can connect the Television screen using HDMI cable from the laptop onto the TV.  

You can not watch on more than one device at the same time. It will not work on the other device.

To change device while viewing, you must first log out and re-open the player on the other device and re-enter the code again. 

To get a Viewing Pass, you have to purchase one or make a donation to support our pet project, the "Give Me Water" project. Either way you are supporting the project and that gets you a viewing pass.

You can click anywhere on this website that says "Get A Pass" or "Make Donations". The film's Viewing Pass is available via this website stateofexpectation.com.

Yes, making a donation entitles you to a Viewing Pass. Buying a Viewing Pass is equally a donation from you.

You can choose to donate larger amounts. Your donation is a Viewing Pass. Simply click "Get A Pass" or "Make a donation" button wherever you see it on the website.

You may also elect to buy a VVIP Pass or make a larger donation.  

To buy Viewing Pass in Naira or to make larger donations, click/tap the "GET VIEWING PASS/MAKE DONATION" tab above.

And then click/tap "Pay Now" on the image (with the little yellow circle) showing "Naira Payment or donations above $15." 

It will take you to the payment merchant's page (Selar). At the top of that page change "USD" to "NGN". Anyway, at check out it will convert to your preferred currency.

You can make payments by bank transfer, debit card or USSD payment.

Get your Viewing Pass now because of the ever increasing exchange rate to the dollar. Do not leave it till tomorrow.

Yes you will be reminded 3 weeks, 2 weeks, 1 week, 24 hrs, 12 hrs, 4hrs, 1 hr and 15 mins before the scheduled date and time. So you will be getting 8 reminders via your email and text (please enter your mobile phone number at payment checkout).

The probability of the film not showing is zero except for natural disaster. Whether dead or alive, the film has already been uploaded onto the playout platform and programmed to play out on the scheduled date and time.

In the event there is a cancellation which means the uploaded film was removed, then the payment merchant will make refunds.

The way it works is that, all funds are withheld and only released to the filmmakers several weeks after the film has been verified to have successfully played to the very end. If it does not play at the exact day and time, the playout platform will automatically prompt the payment merchant to initiate refunds.   

YES and NO.

Yes, but if you share your viewing pass it will result in you not able to view because the person with the viewing pass has the access code to view. Therefore the first person amongst you to enter the viewing pass code locks it to that device alone. Instead of you losing out, it is better to start sharing the film's website with everyone you know for them to get their own Viewing Pass. 

No, there is no point in doing that because the person with the pass is the only one that can access the player with the code. Please protect your viewing pass code properly.

This feature uses a simple technology that locks the access code on only one device at any given time, and makes it absolutely impossible for you to watch on more than one device at the same time.

If you want to change device, you must first logout and then re-login on the new device using the same code plus a 2FA code that will be sent to your email before you can continue viewing.

You do not need to experiment with this because on the day of the premiere, you might miss some minutes of the film. So decide well in advance on the device to use before the start of the film. 

You will also be doing your friend/s and yourself a big favour by purchasing extra viewing pass or urge other persons to purchase their viewing pass. No two individuals or devices can use the same acesss code at the same time. One has to give way for the other so choose wisely.

VVIP Pass is our premium priced Viewing Pass for the big girls and boys.

Holders of this pass have several viewing access two(2) days before and after the premiere date. Holders of this pass get to watch before the actual premiere date and time.

Holders of this pass will be given the film's end credits and also have their names inscribed on plaques erected at the "Give Me Water" project sites. They will be credited as thus: "This water project is donated by:- Mr/Mrs ----------".

They also get a special mention/acknowledgment at organised events and honoured with digital badges.

N.B. Everyone i.e. "One Time Pass", "VVIP Pass" holders and major donors will regularly receive updates, pictures and videos of each water project erected.
